There are a ton of participants for this go round of Calling it Home’s semi-annual One Room Challenge event. It. Is. Incredible. So much talent, so many ideas. Without a doubt the selected designers are crushing it at every turn. If you’d like to see what they are up to, click here. I also mentioned the recent progress of one of my all time’s CLJ, in this post. Lucky for insta stalkers worldwide, they are also really great about their insta stories, which are super fun to follow. Have you been scoping out ours? We might be more on the weird side of fun but nonetheless please follow along at greyorgreenseattle.
Instead of focusing on the amazingness of the selected designers, I wanted to give you a skinny glimpse into the other almost 300 guest participants. Just because these folks are guests by no means equivocates to novice. There are several professional interior designers, DIY masters and of course newbie bloggers like ourselves. I’ve selected three makeovers that I’m totally hooked on.
Brittany from Our Home Made Easy is sprucing up her powder room. She is using board and batten to polish and brighten the space so of course I felt like I had to give her a shout out. The other awesome thing is that her Week #2 post lists some pretty important FYIs to DIY board and batten. Check it out!
Jess from Bright Green Door is revamping her mudroom. She has already made quite a bit of progress and it is looking amazing! Mudrooms can easily be left as an afterthought, but they are such amazing spaces for storage. They are also the room you exit and enter your home from so it makes sense to put the time and effort in! Take a look. Who can resist a DIY Kitchen Renovation on a $1000 budget AND 6 week timeline? Not me. Maureen from Red Cottage Chronicles is taking this on and I’m loving her progress. Her current kitchen, see below, is already pretty dang cute. See what she’s up to here.
Do any of these renovations speak to you? Do you have a fav guest participant that you are glued to? Please share, I’d love to take a look. See ya on Thursday for our ORC Week #3 progress! If you are just getting caught up, check out Week 1, here and Week 2, here.
The gorgeous floral arrangement at the top of the post comes from Ingrid at Of Spring and Summer.
Peony tulips made their debut at the Ballard Market this Sunday and you better believe I scooped some up to enjoy!
