One Room Challenge: Week # 6 The Office Series Finale

Good golly we made it and so did you, thanks so much for following along. If you are like, “um I def have not been following along, who the heck are these people?”….I’ll fill you in, here. We’ll do a quick rewind glimpse, but if you need to see the whole thing through, please go right ahead: Week 1 | Week 2 | Week 3 | Week 4 | Week 5 |.

We have lots of pictures to share so grab a donut or two (or three, seriously, just this once, it’s fine) and scroll away.

The beginning, a special time. Before the innocence of our ideas flowered into heated debates in the trim section of Lowe’s. Those were the days. Please keep in mind this before shot was during our DIY Closet Reno.

Big trim, board & batten and a fancy chair rail totally threw us for a loop for the first couple of weeks.

board and batten

By the time that was all squared away we were in the middle of the great paint debate of 2017. Tarrytown Green by Benjamin Moore stole the show just in time to prevent another heated debate. Phew.

A light here, a light there, a chair in the corner, a couple of shelves, picture rail moulding in effect, greenery, curtains, a spruced up filing cabinet, a flavorful rug and a partridge in a pear tree. The rest is in the details so you’ll just have to listen with your eyes for the rest of this, you’re welcome!

Oh. And one happy dog, too.

We are pumped about how the office turned out and hope we will churn out some brilliant ideas in here.

I hope you had a chance to at least get through the masterpieces the designers created over the past 6 weeks, if not click here. It’s almost overwhelming to put all those ideas in my brain just to hold on to them for future projects! Gah.

Last, but not least, thanks so much to Linda from Calling It Home for hosting this event. We enjoyed playing along and are grateful for the extra butt kicking that accompanied having a finished project in 6 weeks.
